Wrong-way driver alleged to have been drunk | The Columbian

The driver, whose name was not released, travelled the wrong way from Interstate 5 to near Interstate 205, where her car broke down, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The woman was found in her stopped car, facing the wrong way in the inside lane. She was arrested on suspicion of DUI with a breath alcohol level of 0.201 percent, 2½ times the legal limit.

The WSP said the woman told troopers she thought she was headed for state Highway 500, en route to her home in Camas. Highway 500 is about 5 miles north of where she thought she was.
